I'll dominate 'serious combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
